Dynamic DFMA Inc. wants everyone to be able to use dynamicdfma.com, including people who use assistive technology. This statement explains what we do and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
1. Our approach
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Accessible Canada Act and the European Accessibility Act. In practice this means:
- pages can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus;
- images, 3D scenes and animations have text descriptions;
- animations are reduced or stopped when your device asks for reduced motion;
- text and controls are designed for readable contrast and can be zoomed;
- forms have labels and announce their status to screen readers;
- your privacy choices can be made with a keyboard and a screen reader.
2. Known limitations
Some interactive 3D visuals on the home and R&D pages are illustrations and cannot be explored with assistive technology; the same information is given in the text next to them. Some project photos and videos come from third parties and may not have full descriptions. We are working through these and review the site when it changes.
3. Feedback and alternative formats
If you have trouble using any part of the site, or need information in another format, email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We will reply as soon as we can and provide the information in a format that works for you.
