The Courtyard Marriott - Mississauga project is a six-story hotel featuring a basement with underground parking and an exterior parking deck. The building’s base, from the basement to the ground floor, was constructed using reinforced concrete to provide a robust foundation. The upper floors utilize a combination of masonry block walls, structural steel columns and beams, and precast hollowcore slabs for an efficient, resilient structure. The exterior facade consist of prefabricated CFS clip on panels and prefinished exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS)
Dynamic DFMA Inc. contributed expert design, detailing and coordination for the hotel’s prefinished panelized EIFS facade system, ensuring seamless integration between the superstructure and exterior building envelope. We developed detailed shop drawings and assembly strategies that optimized the use of prefabricated components, minimizing onsite labor and reducing timelines.
Additionally, Dynamic supported the development of the hotel’s convention center and two-story pool area, implementing solutions that maintained Marriott’s high standards for guest experience.
